Casual Receptionist – Physiotherapy Clinic (Springfield & Flagstone)

We are a small, busy, and friendly physiotherapy clinic located in Springfield and Flagstone, currently seeking a Receptionist (casual position) to join our dynamic team

We offer three different shifts – morning, mid-day, and evening – totalling approximately 25 to 30 hours per fortnight. Applicants should also be able to commit to working two Saturdays per month.

Additional hours may be required during school/university holidays or to cover staff leave (holiday or sick).

This role is ideal for candidate with flexible and consistent availability who are looking to gain valuable experience in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing phone and patient enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Scheduling patient appointments and handling billings and payments
  • Handling messages, emails, mail, faxes, and general administrative tasks
  • Maintaining and updating patient files and records
  • Ensuring the reception and clinic area is tidy, welcoming, and professional
  • Liaising with a range of health professionals and support staff
To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:
  • A professional, confident, and personable telephone manner
  • Proficient computer and typing skills
  • Excellent time management, initiative, and ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and a polished, professional presentation
  • The ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment
