Our team in **Varsity Lakes** are on the lookout for a permanent **Full Time Medical Receptionist**to join them in providing the best service and care to our patients.

As a Medical Receptionist you will be providing face to face support to patients, acting as the first point of contact to ensure a smooth experience for their appointments. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the booking of appointments, and working with referring medical practitioners.

This is a Full Time position working **38 hours per week.**

**You will be responsible for all reception duties**:

- Deliver high quality patient care when performing all clerical duties.
- Exceptional customer service and care, including greeting patients at the front desk, actioning electronic/faxed referrals, and online enquiries and bookings.
- Schedule radiology exam appointments, including XR, Ultrasound, CT, Mammogram, MRI and interventional procedures.
- Patient record management in line with privacy and confidentiality policies.
- Liasing with other receptionists, radiographers, sonographers, Radiologists, referring doctors and other medical professionals, in a professional and courteous manner.
- Medicare, DVA and Work Cover billing and banking.

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Has previous administration and customer/patient care experience.
- Has exceptional customer service and strong communication skills.
- Is proactive, cooperative and performs well in a fast paced environment.
- Has an interest and desire to learn and improve.
- Please note: knowledge of Radiology, Medicare and DVA is advantageous, but not essential.
