Our modern and comfortable facilities feature cutting-edge dental technology, and we are proud to serve all patients, including nervous patients and young children.
Concerning the position:
- The dental receptionist's responsibilities include inputting patient information into the client's data system, addressing patients' questions, and arranging referrals to other dental professionals.
- Being friendly will help you in your role as a dental receptionist as you make sure that appointments for patients are set up properly, changed, or cancelled based on the patients' requirements.
- You should also be able to produce billing statements.
- You will also be responsible for all administrative tasks required to keep the dental business functioning effectively.
Duties may include the following:
- Welcoming new patients to the clinic.
- Assisting patients in completing information forms.
- Making follow-up appointments and sending reminders
- Keeping patient records up to date and recording current treatments and procedures.
- Answering phones, photocopying, filing, and faxing are examples of general office duties.
- Verifying payment methods and receiving money when needed
Qualifications skills and experience:
- Certification in office administration, medical administration, or related fields is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
- Sound knowledge of dental terminology.
- Exceptional organisational and customer service skills.
- Good telephone etiquette.
