We are looking for a Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join us on a flexible basis either full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (30 hours per week), with the opportunity to build to full-time in line with business requirements.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous administration experience in professional services (accounting, financial services, legal) is desirable.
  • Microsoft Office skills; experience with Xero, CAS or HandiSoft is a plus.
  • Strong administration skills, excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Confident communication and a positive, professional manner.
  • Able to multitask, prioritise and work independently.

About the role

  • Be the welcoming first point of contact for clients, both in person and over the phone
  • Manage the Partner's inbox, appointments, and general administrative support
  • Prepare for client meetings and collate financial statements, tax returns, and ATO reports
  • Assist clients with queries, correspondence, and appointment reminders
  • Support the accounting team with workflow tasks and document lodgements
  • Handle compliance tasks including ASIC and ATO matters
  • Maintain client records and ensure databases are accurate and up to date
  • Coordinate office activities, including team meetings and onboarding new staff
  • Provide general office support, including IT troubleshooting and ad-hoc tasks.
