A leading Australian fast-moving manufactured goods group is seeking a Group Executive – Sales & Customer Strategy to lead national sales performance, key customer relationships, and the execution of data-driven pricing and growth strategies.
This new position will partner closely with the Group Executive – Finance & Commercial to ensure commercial strategy, pricing, and customer execution are perfectly aligned. You will drive national account management, sales team leadership, and the rollout of consistent pricing communications and customer engagement practices across the business.

In This Role, You Will- Lead all sales, customer, and marketing functions across the group to deliver profitable growth and strategic alignment.
- Own and manage national contracts, key accounts, and customer engagement frameworks.
- Develop and communicate national pricing and promotional strategies, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and transparency across customer groups.
- Partner with the Group Executive – Finance & Commercial and Data Science teams to monitor pricing effectiveness, margin performance, and customer profitability.
- Lead and mentor regional and national sales teams, fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.
- Oversee marketing strategy and brand communication to ensure alignment with sales objectives and pricing architecture.
- Report directly to the Board and participate in group-level planning and performance forums.
- Proven senior leadership experience in sales, commercial, or customer strategy within a fast-moving manufactured goods (FMMG/FMCG) or industrial environment.
- A strong record of managing national accounts and enterprise-level contracts.
- Deep understanding of pricing execution, customer negotiations, and commercial margin management.
- Exceptional stakeholder and customer-relationship skills, with the ability to communicate complex pricing and value propositions clearly.
- Demonstrated collaboration with finance and analytics teams to translate insight into commercial action.
- Strategic leadership capability, supported by business or commerce qualifications (MBA preferred).
- Executive remuneration with performance-based incentives.
- End-to-end ownership of national sales and customer performance.
