Primary objective
As a team member of the Commercial Partnership's Customer Service team, provide excellent customer service and
contribute to the effective and efficient service delivery of permit agreements and associated systems.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Process a range of wildlife and on park activity permits including delivery of professional customer service to the public.
2. Contribute to the development, maintenance and evaluation of review systems for permits ensuring compliance of
permit provisions.
3. Prepare and amend permit and operational agreement documentation by liaising with senior management.
4. Maintain systems and programs such as the permits database.
5. Monitor and maintain the submission of return statements, fees, royalties and other requirements of concession
operators and contractors and undertake reviews / audits of concessions.
6. Assist in the provision of accurate data for high level reporting.
- Establish, organise and maintain internal systems such as workflow, filing and correspondence tracking.
- Work within a team and train new team members as required.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Experience in the provision of effective and efficient customer service and ability to provide clear and concise advice
and information.
2. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with people of diverse
cultures.
3. Experience in or ability to learn contract/permits management with a broad understanding of financial, regulatory and
auditing processes.
4. Experience with computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, email and online calendar applications.
- Ability to analyse and extract data to prepare reports.
- Well-developed personal attributes including initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, tact, confidentiality, multi-tasking with
minimal supervision to deliver within set timeframes.
7. Proven experience in contributing effectively as a team member including experience in training.
Desirable
1. Knowledge of the Territory Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act, By-laws and Regulations.
2. Experience with NT Government processes.
