The Northern Territory's Weed Management Branch is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to support the development, delivery and implementation of a comprehensive framework for compliance and enforcement of the Weeds Management Act 2001, to mitigate the impact of priority weeds in the Northern Territory, with a particular focus on gamba grass.

As the Senior Compliance Officer, your primary objective is to support the compliance and enforcement functions of the Weed Management Branch relating to gamba grass and other priority weeds. This position is based in Palmerston but will involve a significant amount of time in the field carrying out inspections and interacting with members of the public.

In return, you'll receive a competitive remuneration package, inclusive of 12% superannuation, 6 weeks' recreational and 3 weeks' personal leave, 17.5% annual leave allowance and additional paid leave to cover the Christmas – New Year's shut-down.
