The Zeller Marketing Lead is a growth-focused role, utilising data, strategy, and execution to deliver new customer acquisition and multi-product adoption. You will lead a talented team of channel marketers across Product Marketing, Content, Social Media, CRM and more, based out of our Melbourne headquarters.

This role is designed for a hands-on marketer with experience growing digital, product-led brands through direct user acquisition, diligent funnel management, and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have hands-on skill across the full marketing mix, and can balance creativity and bold ideas with data-driven campaign and performance optimisation.

You will bring strong experience in growth marketing, direct user acquisition, integrated campaign strategy, performance / organic search, and a strong bias towards execution.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and execute marketing campaigns that drive efficient growth in new customer acquisition across our entire ecosystem of hardware and products.
  • Build awareness, understanding, and ultimately fuel adoption of the Zeller product ecosystem amongst existing customers.
  • Manage, analyse and report on campaign performance in detail, speaking to the full customer funnel (CPC, CTR, CVR, CPA, Payback Period).
  • Report on customer acquisition, product adoption, payback, brand engagement, and the overall health of your marketing efforts relative to our business goals.
  • Optimise campaigns through audience targeting, creative, bid strategy, A/B testing and CRO to maximise payback on paid marketing investment.
  • Execute an effective demand generation strategy through content, lead scoring, and lead nurture campaigns to achieve MQL goals.
  • Successfully deploy integrated product launch campaigns for major new feature and hardware launches.
  • Ensure that creative and campaigns deliver unified messaging, consistent branding across all marketing and communication strategies.
  • Identify and activate brand partnerships to extend reach and build our network of referrers.
  • Be a senior leader within the Zeller Growth team, partnering with other functional leaders to achieve shared KPIs and strengthen team culture and collaboration.
  • Coach and manage direct reports, building a centre of excellence for career and professional development and a high quality of work.

Experience And Skills

  • 4+ years of relevant marketing experience in a digital, product-led SaaS brand. Experience working in the B2B sector is preferable.
  • Direct leadership experience managing a team of at least 2 people.
  • Demonstrable experience driving growth in direct user acquisition, utilising a multi-channel strategy including (but not limited to) organic, paid, referral, affiliate, mobile, app.
  • You have executed integrated marketing campaigns, unifying creative, communications and tone across all channels.
  • Successfully grown multi-product adoption via an ecosystem strategy; driving customer utilisation of multiple products via CRM, in-product marketing, and x-sell.
  • Executed demand generation and lead nurturing (via content, email) experience; supporting sales teams with a healthy pipelien of inbound MQLs.
  • A proven, analytical mindset, combined with an understanding of multi-touch customer acquisition attribution models, and how to optimise a channel mix towards the most efficient CPA / payback period.
  • Experience building brand awareness in a competitive market through bold ideas. You're comfortable tailoring content, tone, and messaging to product, audience, and lifecycle stage, with an outstanding eye for detail.
  • You're resourceful and hands-on, ready to contribute wherever needed in order to get the job done.
