About the Role
As the Head of Sales at EHPlabs, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's success by developing and executing strategic account initiatives that enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and foster strong partnerships with our distribution and retail partners. You will work collaboratively with our international based teams to ensure the alignment and execution of revenue building strategies and overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting national retail chains to achieve revenue and market share growth.
- Identify opportunities for product placement, promotional activities, and in-store initiatives to drive sales.
- Lead negotiations with key retail accounts to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers at national retail chains.
- Understand their business needs, market trends, and challenges to tailor solutions that meet their requirements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for retail partners, addressing inquiries, concerns, and fostering a collaborative partnership.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team focused on targeting national retailers.
- Set clear performance goals, provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
- Identify new business opportunities and expansion possibilities within the national retail sector.
- Research and understand market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform business development strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop tailored sales campaigns and promotional materials for national retailers.
- Work closely with the product team to align product offerings with retail partners' needs and preferences.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, inventory management, and delivery to retail partners.
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage the sales budget for national retail initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and projections to support business planning and decision-making.
- Maintain a consistent travel schedule to ensure effective face-to-face meetings and strong relationships.
- Ensure timely submission of administrative paperwork on behalf of customers
About You
- You bring 8-10 years of experience in Sports Nutrition, Heath and Wellness, and/or the FMCG Industry
- You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, JPBs, promotional plans and brand launches.
- You have a strong understanding of Specialty Sports Nutrition, Food, Drug and Mass.
- You have excellent ability to visualise how to add value and translate the vision into actionable goals.
- You have exceptional abilities to enhance operating results by ensuring alignment of resources through integrating various points of view and setting expectations.
- You bring a growth mindset with the ability to always search for more opportunities.
- You're proficient at building selling stories and translating data into actionable strategies
