We're looking for a Client Solutions Manager to join our growing team and play a critical role in sourcing new business and managing some key client accounts. Experience in transport or logistics is a bonus, but what matters most is your drive and ability to build valuable, long-term client relationships. We're looking for someone who is proactive, open-minded, collaborative, and driven by a can-do spirit.

You will:

  • Hunt for New Business: Identify and secure new business opportunities that require professional delivery solutions under long-term contracts
  • Build and Nurture Relationships: Establish deep, lasting client relationships that drive ongoing success and growth
  • Deliver Tailored Solutions: Use your solution-selling expertise to provide delivery solutions that meet client needs and foster long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the Delivery Services team to maintain service excellence and ensure a smooth handover of new clients
  • Focus on Long-Term Wins: Develop strategies for sustainable growth, ensuring strong client retention and satisfaction over time.

As well as:

·       Build and maintain a high-quality CRM database, with consistent contact and activity logged

·       Submit weekly sales reports detailing all activity, including appointments, calls, pipeline development, and client support

·       Maintain regular Client Call Cycles and ensure all client records are up to date

·       Respond promptly and effectively to client issues and queries.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in business development with a focus on hunting new business and securing long-term contracts.
  • Expertise in solution-based selling; you know how to identify needs and close high-value deals.
  • A background in transport/logistics is a plus, but not essential
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and engage clients throughout the process
  • Collaborative team player with professional presence
  • A valid driver's license and solid knowledge of the local market.
