About The Role
As a SCADA Field Commissioning Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for monitoring and controlling vital water and wastewater assets, including water pumping stations, sewage pumping stations, and water storage reservoirs. You will help us manage the technical activities associated with the planning, delivery, and commissioning of our Integrated Instrumentation, Control, Automation, and Telemetry System (IICATS).

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
Field Commissioning
: Conducting field commissioning of SCADA sites, ensuring top-notch quality and standards of workmanship, and configuring instrumentation and control equipment.

Fault Diagnosis
: Leveraging your expertise in electrical control circuits and P&I diagrams to diagnose faults and recommend minor modifications to electrical control circuits or instrumentation loops.

Client Liaison
: Advising both external and internal clients on technical issues related to SCADA requirements.

Technical Support
: Responding to technical inquiries and providing critical system fault response, diagnosis, and rectification during the commissioning of SCADA assets.

Field-Based Work
This role involves hands-on fieldwork, where you may encounter challenging conditions, including high safety risks. You might work at heights, in adverse weather, or within wastewater systems. A pre-employment medical assessment is required to ensure you're ready for the job.

Qualifications
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or a related discipline with proven experience in the commissioning of SCADA or equivalent process control systems.

A current NSW driver's licence

Thorough knowledge and extensive experience in the commissioning and operation of SCADA or process control systems; and

Extensive experience demonstrating the ability to review electrical drawings.
