Technical Internal Sales Representative – BRE Products

The Opportunity

As a Technical Internal Sales Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, supporting customers, and ensuring our products are effectively represented across channels. You'll manage inbound and outbound sales activity, support marketing initiatives, and collaborate across operations to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities via tenders, outbound calls, and emails.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and uncover upselling/cross-selling potential.

Customer Engagement & Support

  • Respond to enquiries with technical info and manage the Products inbox.
  • Build strong customer relationships and monitor account health.

Marketing & Product Awareness

  • Manage LinkedIn updates and support product launches and campaigns.
  • Ensure website pricing and product positioning remain competitive.

Operations & Administration

  • Accurately enter orders, manage invoicing, and coordinate deliveries.
  • Maintain inventory and product catalogues in SimPRO.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and product developments.
  • Research target accounts and translate insights into sales strategies.

About You

You're a confident communicator with a technical mindset and a passion for customer success. You thrive in fast-paced environments, take initiative, and enjoy turning insights into action.

  • Prior experience in industrial sales, automation, electrical, or related technical fields — with a working knowledge of products like industrial routers, surge protection, or edge devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Confidence in sales outreach (cold calling, email prospecting) and handling inbound opportunities.
  • Strong research and analytical ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to contribute to team success.

Key Competencies

  • Familiarity with industrial technologies and product categories relevant to our portfolio, including automation hardware, connectivity solutions, and electrical protection systems.
  • Ability to understand and translate technical customer requirements into solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset.
  • Persuasive, professional, and confident in customer engagement.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a proactive approach to both internal and external responsibilities.
  • Experience with SimPRO is advantageous; ability to maintain catalogues and manage inventory workflows.
  • CRM proficiency is required — confident navigating customer data, tracking leads, and managing pipelines.
  • Capability to develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio, including:

  • IXON - Industrial VPN routers with secure remote access and integrated cloud data logging & monitoring.

  • Novaris - High-quality electrical surge protection solutions for power, data, and signal lines.
  • Kunbus - Revolution Pi (RevPi) edge devices – industrial computers based on Raspberry Pi for automation and IIoT applications.
  • Teltonika - Rugged VPN routers and industrial Ethernet switches for reliable connectivity in demanding environments.
  • Smith-Root - Specialists in electrofishing and aquatic research equipment.
