Reports to: APAC Director of Sales

About Us:

S-5 is a US company manufacturer that specializes in metal roofing attachments with over 35 years in the industry. We are recognized for our commitment to innovation, technical expertise, and customer satisfaction. As we expand in the APAC region, we are looking for a skilled Technical Sales Representative who can understand complex technical needs and deliver impactful solutions for our customers in the region.

Responsibilities:


• Identify and engage with potential customers across the APAC region, developing leads and building relationships.

• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations, clearly communicating the value and functionality of our products.

• Customize proposals and solutions based on client needs and market demands.

• Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and support teams to ensure in-depth knowledge of product offerings and capabilities.

• Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and contract documentation.

• Track sales metrics, market trends, and competitor activity, using insights to enhance regional sales strategies.

• Travel within the APAC region as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business (preferred but not required), or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

• Preferably 2+ years of experience on technical sales solar or roofing industry, with a preference in the APAC market.

• Strong understanding within the solar industry and the installation process.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build client relationships.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a remote, regional structure.

• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation tools.

• Fluency in English required; proficiency in other regional languages is a plus.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the APAC region.
