About the Role

We're seeking a Sales Administrator to join our South Dandenong team, combining the best of administrative support and internal sales coordination. This hybrid role offers a unique blend of responsibilities—ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and enjoys working across departments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations including answering phone and email enquiries, greeting visitors, and ordering office/warehouse supplies
  • Support the sales team by processing customer orders, preparing quotes, and managing purchase and sales orders in MYOB
  • Raise and reconcile purchase orders, match with supplier acknowledgements, and process invoices for customers and suppliers in a timely manner
  • Coordinate freight and logistics for local, national, and international shipments, including tracking and liaising with freight providers
  • Maintain and update internal spreadsheets for sales, purchasing, production, and general operations
  • Obtain supplier quotes, availability, and freight costs to assist with accurate quoting and order fulfilment
  • Respond to customer enquiries and quotations within 24 hours, providing professional and efficient service
  • Assist in maintaining and growing key customer accounts through strong internal sales support and relationship management
  • Organise stock transfers between branches and ensure synchronisation of processes across all locations
  • Liaise with external sales staff, management, IT support, and other internal teams to support business operations
  • Contribute to ISO systems and continuous improvement initiatives, helping ensure quality and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and organise asset maintenance (e.g. printers, office equipment) and ensure smooth daily operations across the

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in an administration or internal sales role (or similar)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel in particular) and MYOB or similar ERP systems
  • Comfortable multitasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys problem-solving
  • Familiarity with ISO systems and continuous improvement processes is a plus
