What's on Offer?

New Headcount to support our growth This is a Full-time position, to join TK Maxx in 2025. The role will be based at our Mascot Home Office, under a Hybrid working arrangement.

Known internally as the HR Business Partner you will act as an initial point of contact for your client group, building and maintaining strong and mutually beneficial relationships. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our Stores and Loss Prevention Teams and be responsible for providing day-to-day tactical and operational support.

Duties/ Responsibilities

Anything can happen in a day in the life of HR and as a result, we are looking for an adaptable individual who is able to prioritise, plays as a team, thinks outside the box and is willing to roll their sleeves up. In saying that, your key responsibilities would include:

  • Managing employee relations matters for your client group.
  • Partner closely with your client group, to support and guide new people initiatives that will assist in your expansion, employment brand and EVP.
  • Work closely with management to ensure the effective implementation of Human Resources policies, practices, and procedures that provide an optimal working environment and promote a culture of excellence and performance.
  • Support the facilitation of regular business people initiatives in line with agreed timelines, including performance review process, goal setting and merit review.
  • Initiate, manage and contribute to major Human Resources reports, projects, committees, reviews and/or continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage any required HR administrative duties for your respective client group, including management of casual discontinuation processes, succession planning, absenteeism management, return to work and the management of accurate people and compliance data.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition and Store and Loss Prevention Management, to ensure the timely recruitment of vacancies.
  • Support HR projects to enhance or streamline operational functionality and the overall Associate experience.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years generalist HR/ER experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Relations legislation and requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge in compliance, talent attraction, development and movement, driving performance, employee relations and engagement
  • Proven interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills, and the ability to adapt and thrive in a position with constantly changing requirements and priorities
