The OpportunityAs Human Resources Assistant at KOSEC, you will play a key role in recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and HR compliance. This role is ideal for an ambitious HR professional looking to expand their expertise in talent management, workplace culture, and organisational development within a premier financial firm.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding top-tier talent.
- Reach out to potential candidates on LinkedIn to set up meetings, pitch career opportunities, and acquire top talent.
- Conduct group interviews, helping to identify and assess the best candidates for various roles.
- Support hiring initiatives for key roles, including stockbrokers, investment advisors, analysts, and sales professionals.
- Maintain and update job postings, candidate databases, and recruitment pipelines.
- Conduct initial interviews and assist in shortlisting candidates for leadership review.
- Prepare employment contracts and ensure all documentation is accurately completed before onboarding.
- Liaise with external networking platforms, and industry contacts to expand KOSEC's talent reach.
Induction Training & Employee Engagement
- Lead induction training sessions for new hires, ensuring they are well-integrated into KOSEC's culture and business operations.
- Assist in employee retention initiatives and support engagement strategies to maintain a high-performance work culture.
- Support the planning and execution of staff training, leadership development programs, and team-building activities.
- Provide administrative support for HR events, meetings, and internal communication initiatives.
- Assist in the management of employee feedback surveys, performance reviews, and professional development programs.
Performance Management & Organisational Development
- Support HR leadership in implementing structured performance management frameworks.
- Assist in coordinating training sessions, coaching initiatives, and career development programs for employees.
- Maintain HR records and performance tracking systems, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
- Work with department heads to align HR strategies with business goals, driving long-term growth and employee success.
HR Compliance & Best Practices
- Ensure HR policies align with Australian workplace laws, financial sector regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist in workplace investigations, employee relations, and compliance matters, maintaining professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain and update HR documentation, contracts, and company policies to ensure full compliance.
- Support payroll and benefits administration, ensuring timely processing of employee entitlements.
- Experience in HR support, recruitment, or administrative roles within financial services or corporate environments.
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, and workplace engagement strategies.
- Ability to reach out to candidates on LinkedIn, conduct group interviews, facilitate induction training, and prepare employment contracts.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Knowledge of HR policies, workplace compliance, and employment law in Australia is advantageous.
- A proactive mindset, with a passion for developing HR initiatives that align with KOSEC's business objectives.
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
