We are seeking a high-performing
Human Resources Consultant
to join one of our law firm clients.
This role partners directly with senior leaders, delivering strategic and operational HR solutions across a broad employee lifecycle. It's an excellent opportunity to use your HR expertise in a client-facing advisory capacity within a dynamic and professional environment.
The Role
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, including business leaders and managers, to deliver people strategies that drive performance, capability, and engagement. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide expert guidance across all areas of HR, including:
- Recruitment and onboarding across all levels
- Performance and career development, talent management, and promotions
- Workforce planning, capacity management, and employee mobility
- Employee relations, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives
- Remuneration, benefits, and recognition frameworks
- Health, safety, and wellbeing obligations and initiatives
You will coach leaders on how to get the best from their teams, enabling effective conversations, embedding change, and building resilient, high-performing business groups.
About You
We are looking for a collaborative HR professional who can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery. You will bring:
- A strong generalist HR background with proven experience advising senior leaders
- Up-to-date knowledge of Australian workplace legislation, awards, and WHS frameworks
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to apply HR solutions through a business lens
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and build trusted relationships
- A positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, business, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated success in an HR consultant or business partner role within a complex professional or corporate environment
