We are seeking a qualified Systems Accountant to manage, improve, and integrate the financial and operational systems that support our Data Centres business. This is a key role bridging Finance, Operations, and IT, ensuring accurate reporting, efficient processes, and compliance across all financial systems and data flows.

What you'll do:

Systems Management & Integration

  • Manage and maintain financial systems across the business.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reliability across finance and operational platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance to streamline ERP, project, and reporting system integrations.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and rollout of new tools and modules.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for operational and strategic decisions.
  • Analyse project performance, cost tracking, and profitability.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in financial and project reporting.
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual data entry and reporting errors.
  • Support design and implementation of standardised templates, processes, and procedures.

Business Support

  • Work closely with management teams to deliver timely, accurate financial insights.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Train and support end-users on system functionality and reporting tools.

Compliance & Controls

  • Maintain system-based internal controls to support compliance and audits.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified accountant with strong analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in financial systems management and reporting.
  • Proactive, process-focused, and able to drive system improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise across Finance, IT, and Operations.
