In your new role as a Settlement/Post Settlement Officer, you will be responsible for equipment finance activities for Kubota Australia and New Zealand, including documentation, settlement, account management, and supporting system improvements for commercial and consumer finance. This role is offered on a 12-month FT contract.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and develop communications for users and experts
  • Prepare accurate loan documents following policies
  • Handle settlements with quality checks
  • Serve as first contact for customer and dealer settlement inquiries
  • Manage accounts according to compliance and governance requirements
  • Proactively handle accounts activities, e.g. sending letters, payout quotes, statements, and data updates
  • Monitor contract maturity and manage PPSR discharge
  • Provide customer service for open accounts
  • Support projects and process improvements as needed
  • Perform other delegated tasks within skillset, including finance operations support

To excel in this role, your resume would include:

  • Proven experience in a similar role undertaking settlement/post settlement and project support, including proven ability to accurately and efficiently action customer contract maintenance requests
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional customer and other working relationships
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritise workflow and work items to meet deadlines whilst achieving high levels of service and quality
  • Attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Proven integrity in relation to conduct and compliance with policy, procedure, governance and Australia & New Zealand regulatory requirements. Applied experience with Farm Debt Mediation Schemes and the ASIC/ACCC Debt Collection Guidelines and related legal processes
  • Intermediate computing skills including proficiency in standard office and account management application
  • Accurate and efficient data entry
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well developed organisation and general administration skills
  • Proven ability to work autonomously without direct supervision and, as part of a team in a fast paced, dynamic environment
