We are looking for aLead Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a high-performing Finance team. In this role, you'll lead daily AR operations, support a busy and established team, manage major enterprise clients, and help drive improvements that make a real impact on how the function operates.

What you'll do:
  • Lead and support the AR team to deliver accurate invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
  • Oversee high-volume invoicing, including customer-specific portals and recurring billing cycles.
  • Manage large enterprise accounts and guide the team through complex or escalated matters.
  • Review, verify, and reconcile payments
  • Handle high-volume AR queries, especially during monthly peak periods.
  • Collaborate closely with the Collections and Finance teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Support process improvements and contribute to automation projects within AR.
  • Travel interstate as required to support collaboration with the wider finance team.
What you have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years' experience in high-volume Accounts Receivable within complex organisations.
  • 3+ years' experience leading or supervising AR teams.
  • Strong experience working with major enterprise customers.
  • Proficiency across multiple ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Business Central, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel skills for data reconciliation, analysis, and process improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to travel interstate when needed.
