About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Officer to join our collaborative Finance team at St John Ambulance NSW. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you'll play a key role in managing customer accounts, maintaining positive relationships, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our receivables processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and allocate daily customer payments (EFT and BPoint) in SAP Business One
- Manage debtors within agreed trading terms and credit policy
- Respond to customer enquiries and manage monthly statement follow-ups
- Reconcile payment gateway transactions (BPoint)
- Maintain debtor KPIs, including DSO performance
- Maximise cash flow through proactive collection processes
- Perform banking duties and process customer refunds
- Liaise with customers, sales, and internal teams to resolve queries and non-payments
- Participate in finance processes supporting effective receivables management
About You

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in debt collection or accounts receivable within a complex, high-volume environment
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across both commercial and not-for-profit settings
- Alignment with the values and mission of St John NSW
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination as per St John NSW policy
