Position Overview

Covenant Medical Hub is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time 2IC / Senior Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in November 2025.

Key Responsibilities

As the 2IC / Senior Medical Receptionist, you will:

  • Support the Practice Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth team workflow
  • Lead by example in providing a warm and professional front-of-house experience
  • Supervise and mentor reception staff, offering training and guidance where needed
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow
  • Handle escalated patient enquiries and complex administrative issues with empathy
  • Oversee administrative tasks and practice correspondence, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met

Required Skills & Qualities

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous medical reception experience (essential)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and supervise a small team
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Confident use of technology and Best Practice management software
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development

Position Details

  • Full-time role – 38 hours per week

  • Monday: 8:45am– 5:15pm

  • Tuesday: 8:45am – 4:15pm
  • Wednesday: 8:45am– 5:15pm
  • Thursday: 8:45am– 5:15pm
  • Friday: 8:45am – 4:15pm
  • Start Date: November 2025
