Garnet Homes is a growing and dynamic construction company based in Gregory Hills. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong Xero skills to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth day-to-day financial operations of the business and supporting our continued success in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and lodge quarterly BAS.
  • Track and manage income and expenses to maintain accurate financial records and support reporting.
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate coding and journal entries.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions as needed.
  • Maintain and organise financial documentation and records for compliance and audit readiness.
  • Monitor purchase orders, subcontractor payments, and ensure adherence to contract terms and project budgets.
