Bayside, Australia Dean & Ling Executive Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

This is a rare opportunity to join a well known Australian enterprise which delivers a market leading portfolio of branded products and services to consumers both in Australia and internationally. The business is headquartered in Melbourne and supports a small, centralised finance team which is professional, value-add focused and down to earth.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will primarily be responsible for the integrity of the GL results and financial statements for a number of entities within the group. You will help to prepare and review periodic financial accounts and monthly management reports for local and overseas entities, review and analyse budget variances and costs, monitor ongoing compliance with statutory reporting requirements, support the periodic external audit review and also ensure that the business meets its Direct and Indirect taxation compliance requirements. As a key member of the Head Office finance team you will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to the broader enterprise, by working collegially with a range of stakeholders both locally and overseas to ensure that the finance function continues to effectively support the ongoing needs of the business.

You are likely to be a qualified CA/CPA who is now seeking a broadly scoped role in industry as part of your continued professional development. The opportunity to work in an international business in an ASX listed environment may also appeal to you. You might already possess some industry experience, either gained in a similar role in a Corporate or SME environment, or you might be a Chartered Accountant seeking to move into industry for the first time. In either case you should possess a collegial & professional work ethic, well developed technical accounting skills and a strong working knowledge of Direct/Indirect taxation compliance.
