Bayside, Australia RPR Trades Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Fantastic Opportunity  Our client, who is a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking to appoint an Administration / HR Manager for their facility in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.

This position is a 5-day week office based, with flexible start times, but no WFH flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage, control and supervise the day-to-day accounting & human resources functions
  • Enter all banking documents, debtor receipts etc, reconciliation and filing
  • Assist Customer with copy invoices and resolving any issues
  • Investigate and resolve supplier problems and advise management so that preventative action is taken to reduce potential future errors
  • Accounts payable functions – enter invoices and reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Process payment run for creditors – twice a month
  • Produce and send out customer sales reports monthly
  • Produce and send out customer statements monthly or as requested
  • Follow up all outstanding customer payments
  • Process customer credits as required
  • Fortnightly payroll and associated functions
  • Human resources management
  • Attend all company sponsored training programs, meetings, seminars, conferences and stock takes when requested
  • Organise and order as required – stationery and staff amenities
  • Ensure that all activities and operations are carried out in compliance with laws governing business operations
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Standards (AS 4801 and ISO and legal requirements and regulation under applicable OHS ACT and Regulations
  • Ensure communication and feedback channels are open with all employees
  • Follow up action from workplace inspections and audits
  • To achieve or exceed budgeted sales and margins through the sale of products systems & services
  • Ensure quality service to our client's customers
  • Ensure work is completed in a timely, safe & environmentally friendly manner
  • Assist the CFO with reconciliation & allocations
  • Ensure employees are aware of chemical risks and hazards and all MSDS are in place and up to date.
  • Refer to applicable (SWP) Standard Work Procedures (JSA) Job Safety Analysis (MHRA) Manual Handling Risk Assessments and (HCRA) Hazardous Chemical Risk Assessment.
  • Report immediately all depot serious Incident/Injuries to Senior Management
  • Ensure all purchased items meet Australian Standards-Refer to SWP-005
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Experience Required:

  • 5+ years in a similar position
  • Management experience
  • Supervision experience
  • Training experience
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Drivers' licence
