Receptionist/ Animal Attendant – Malvern Vet Hospital

At Malvern Vet Hospital, our receptionists are more than the friendly face at the front desk — they're an essential part of the team who keep everything running smoothly and help us deliver gold-standard care to our patients.

We're a busy, ASAVA-accredited small animal hospital with a strong Fear Free focus. By joining our reception team, you'll play a vital role in supporting our vets and nurses so they can spend more time on the rewarding hands-on work they love. You'll be part of every patient's journey, helping clients feel cared for and ensuring their pets receive the very best.

Your role will include:

Greeting clients and managing check-ins with warmth and professionalism

Answering phones, emails, and scheduling appointments with care and attention

Supporting the team with patient admissions and discharges

Processing payments and keeping the front of house running smoothly

Cattery/ kennel hand duties possibly required

Being the go-to support for our vets and nurses to help the hospital flow efficiently

What we're looking for:

  • A friendly, organised, and proactive person with a love for animals and people
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their day
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional yet warm manner with clients
  • A team player who is willing to step in and help wherever needed
  • Previous veterinary reception or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential for the right person
