About The Role
The Resource and Administration Officer is an integral part of the Business Support team within the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages. This role primarily manages the daily financial transaction processing, overseeing procurement activities, assisting in audit and financial reporting processes, supports human resources tasks and ensures the office is well-maintained and running smoothly.
Please note: This is not a traditional accounting role.
You will be part of a small team operating across varied functions, where collaboration, diligence and flexibility are essential. You will benefit from the guidance and resources necessary to achieve success in your role.

We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, adaptable, team-oriented and consistently diligent in their work, with a strong ability to manage a variety of responsibilities throughout the day.

  • Possesses experience and knowledge in basic accounting activities.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Is highly organised and can efficiently prioritise workload in a work setting with a constant flow of tasks and requests.
  • Has strong analytical skills for problem-solving and proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Communicates effectively and works well both independently and as part of a team.
