We are seeking a seasoned Sales Leader for a rapidly growing, PE-backed global alternative property business to lead the Sales function in a newly created role.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both direct sales and leading the sales operation and performance of the team. Experience within hotel and/or travel industry and a deep understanding of that market is pivotal to the success of the candidate in this role. 

This role will serve as the Australian Sales Lead with a company that is rapidly expanding key urban markets.

This is your opportunity to lead sales strategy for an entire region with a high-growth company backed by strong market demand. You'll be the strategic architect of the national sales function, responsible for both Business Development and Account Management across the region.

The Role

This is not a frontline sales role. We're looking for a strategic leader who can coach high-performing teams, develop winning strategies, and work across multiple functions to drive sustainable growth.

  • Leadership role reporting directly into C-Suite
  • Strategic position within the commercial leadership team

  • Global alignment with their UK and Ireland operations
  • Own and execute the regional sales strategy, including market segmentation and revenue growth planning
  • Lead and manage the Australian Sales team across Business Development and Account Management
  • Collaborate with our Global Director of Account Management to implement best-in-class processes
  • Represent at industry events and key corporate meetings
  • Partner with Revenue and Distribution teams to maximize yield across B2B and B2C segment
  • Contribute to company-wide go-to-market strategies for new property launches
  • Coach, mentor, and grow a team of sales professionals
  • Focus on building long-term client partnerships while delivering revenue outcomes
  • Share market insights to influence product decisions and acquisition strategy

About YouYou will have a unique combination and deep understanding of Sales Leadership both operationally and from a strategic standpoint. 

  • Proven sales leadership experience in hotels, serviced apartments, or travel
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth business environments
  • Understanding of the procurement cycles for hotels
  • Track record of leading teams and delivering strong revenue results
  • Deep understanding of corporate travel, RFPs, and procurement cycles in Australia
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth business environments
  • Excellent relationship management skills with a collaborative leadership style
  • Strategic mindset with ability to influence stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities
