Sales Director – Direct Selling Industry - Bilingual Mandarin

  • Salary: $180k -$190k + Super + Profit Sharing
  • Location: Western Sydney | hybrid (Open to a candidate who is keen to relocate from other states in Australia)
  • Languages: English & Mandarin (mandatory)
  • Extensive sales and leadership experience within a direct selling environment preferable or understanding of direct selling model. Proficiency in public speaking and presenting to large groups, and strong coaching skills.

Our client is a leader in the development and production of premium healthcare products, distributed directly to preferred customers and associates worldwide.

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director with extensive sales management experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven background in the direct selling model. The ideal candidate will also be confident in public speaking, skilled at coaching, and able to inspire large teams.

Position Overview

The Sales Director will lead the sales team and regional managers to achieve revenue goals and grow market share. This role is central to developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

As a key partner in shaping strategic business plans, the Sales Director will deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue, sales, and profit targets across assigned regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key associates, while identifying and nurturing new leaders.
  • Develop and track sales plans, monitor performance, and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide high-quality coaching and mentoring to emerging leaders, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Maintain close contact with independent associates, with a focus on supporting new recruits and developing future leaders.
  • Propose and manage annual training and recognition budgets.
  • Plan and deliver yearly training programs, including onsite sessions and nationwide roadshows.
  • Partner with Marketing and Head Office to design effective onboarding programs that drive retention and engagement.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Health Sciences, or related field.
  • Extensive sales and leadership experience within a direct selling environment (e.g., insurance, franchise model, or direct selling personal care, healthcare products).
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities effectively.
  • Collaborative, resilient, and able to work under pressure with a mature approach.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in public speaking and presenting to large groups, and strong coaching skills.
