Security Consultant, Queensland Health

We are looking for 2x Security Consultants to join our team to assist with the Corporate Technology Solutions (CTS) Workforce Management security implementation, and maintenance of user access management across CTS systems.
As the Security Consultant, you will contribute as part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that Queensland Health's Human Resource, Workforce Management and Finance solutions are configured, developed, implemented, maintained, and reviewed from an application security perspective. You will contribute to ensuring we cost effectively meet business requirements for our solutions.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- Knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining application security.
- Demonstrated effective knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge within a reasonable timeframe, of the CTS supported solutions.
- Demonstrated experience to assist, escalate and/or resolve user access provisioning requests and issues ensuring quality and consistency whilst meeting expected timeframes.
- Demonstrated general analytical, conceptual, and innovative problem-solving skills with a strong focus on meeting desired outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as an effective team member who strives to build and sustain positive and effective relationships with team members, other teams, and stakeholders through the implementation of team goals, strategies, and work plans.
- Proven effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to build effective client and stakeholder relationships by negotiating client needs and ensuring proposed solutions are properly understood and resolved.
