Take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity as a Test Analyst to support the planning, preparation and implementation of testing solutions for the Queensland Health HR/Payroll and Rostering solution.
What you'll do
- Support the completion of the exploratory, system, integration and regression testing and associated activities such as defect logging, prioritisation and management, within established frameworks, strategies, standards, methodologies and policies for QLD Health HR/Payroll and Workforce Management releases and projects.
- Collaborate with other teams and external stakeholders as required to undertake timely preparation for testing, issue and defect resolution to enable test execution deadlines to be met to ensure timely release of functionality for the benefit of Queensland Health.
- Contribute to test planning scheduling, preparation and report development.
- Monitor and evaluate testing progress, risks and issues and assist with reporting on these items appropriately to key stakeholders including governance bodies.
- Plan, develop/ record and execute test cases and scripts and associated data preparation scripts.
- Contribute to project work and strategic or improvement analysis and advice to management on testing, application and associated issues and initiatives including risk and issue identification and management.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with team members, other project teams, stakeholders and client groups to develop and maintain effective working relationships and the integrity of the overall integrated solution.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience in a test analyst role performing system, integration, regression and/ or user acceptance testing in a complex system environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions and experience testing in a HR/Payroll and workforce management context.
- Ability to assist management and team leaders to deliver effective services to clients.
- Proven effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively liaise, consult and negotiate a diverse range of stakeholders and build positive relationships in an environment of change.
- Demonstrated experience with HP ALM including Requirements Traceability, Test Planning, Test Execution and Defect Management.
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to translate functional requirements into testable scenarios and associated test cases.
