The Automation Specialist will lead and shape the future of digital efficiency at CHQ, through the development of Automation initiatives at CHQ. The role will be pivotal in assisting CHQ to explore and realise the potential for automation by designing and deploying secure, scalable and interoperable automation solutions as part of the AutoMate Project. This initiative is backed by strategic investment and consumer engagement, aiming to reduce burnout, improve workflows and efficiencies whilst enhancing data quality and patient safety. The role offers a unique chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to governance and risk frameworks, and drive innovation in healthcare automation.

About the Role

  • Lead and provide software development and related technical specialist support services ensuring compliance with the organisations Information Management and Information Communication Technology (ICT) policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures in particular configuration, change and release management practices.
  • Design and develop high quality enterprise software application products, components and services that meet and fulfil approved software specifications and business requirements.
