About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and insightful Business Analyst for a short-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive review of a key customer's business processes and the technology systems that support them. This project-based role requires the analyst to work on-site at the customer's Gold Coast location and remotely to perform hands-on analysis, map workflows, conduct stakeholder interviews, and deliver a final report with actionable recommendations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled analyst to make a significant impact by providing critical insights that bridge the gap between a client's operational processes and their technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the customer's existing business processes, software systems, and IT infrastructure.
  • Engage with the customer's key stakeholders and staff through structured interviews to map current workflows, identify operational pain points, and understand business requirements.
  • Analyze how systems and processes interact to find inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Produce high-quality, clean, and clear documentation of all findings, including process maps and system diagrams.
  • Prepare and present a final, comprehensive report detailing the current state of the customer's systems and processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong ability to understand and document business operations and workflows (process mapping).
  • A solid technical understanding of software systems, data flow, and general IT infrastructure.
  • Exceptional interviewing and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience in a sales or pre-sales environment are highly advantageous.
  • Experience working on-site and representing a company professionally at a client's location.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex process and system information into clear insights.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a proven track record of creating professional and easily understandable documentation.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and manage time effectively to meet the project deadline.
  • Mandatory: Must have the ability and willingness to attend and work on-site at the customer's location on the Gold Coast as required for the duration of the contract.

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
