Responsibilities

- Meeting with store managers, sales staff, warehouse supervisors, and delivery teams to capture requirements for sales, stock control, supplier orders, and customer service processes. Documenting needs for system enhancements. Elicit, document, and manage business requirements by engaging with stakeholders from management, warehouse teams, and retail staff.
- Analyzing how orders are processed from showroom and online channels to delivery; identifying inefficiencies in inventory tracking, logistics, or customer order follow-ups.
- Creating project plans for new furniture design rollouts, website updates if there is any, or CRM integrations; managing timelines, costs, and resource allocation.
- Coordinating system releases and coordinating with IT team based in Brisbane for end-to-end testing for online store features, payment gateways, and delivery tracking modules to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Writing user manuals for showroom and warehouse staff; preparing training materials and running sessions to ensure smooth adoption of systems.
- Prepare functional specifications for system developers and vendors.
- Creating data flow diagrams for stock movement, order processing using insights to recommend workflow improvements.
- Acting as the go-to person for system-related decisions; advising management on business growth, vendor selection, or process changes.
- Use data and process modelling to define system designs and workflows.
- Consult on and design improvements for digital platforms and business systems.

Qualifications & experience

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Experience in ERP, CRM, POS, and e-commerce systems, preferably within retail or wholesale environments.
- At least one year of experience in relevant field is required.
- Knowledge of data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management processes in the retail/furniture sector is advantageous.
