Job Description
About the Role
As Chef De Partie At Mee So, You'll

  • Take ownership of your section and ensure smooth, efficient service
  • Prepare and cook a range of Japanese and Korean-inspired dishes
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to execute menu concepts and daily specials
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, consistency, and flavour
  • Help train and support junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met
  • Contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal menu updates

Qualifications
What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Chef ready to step up
  • A genuine love of Asian cuisine, especially Japanese and Korean
  • A flair for plating, flavour balance, and presentation
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
  • A commitment to quality, consistency, and creativity
  • Availability for a mix of day, night, and weekend shifts
  • Hold a valid Food Safety Certificate
  • Have full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)
