Due to continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator to join our dynamic team.


About the Role

This dual-role position is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys managing projects from concept through to completion while also having a keen eye for detail and numbers. As the Project Manager/Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates, coordinating project timelines, managing subcontractors, and ensuring successful project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Estimating:


• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for residential construction projects (new builds, renovations, extensions).


• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand scope and requirements.


• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.


• Identify potential risks and opportunities during the quoting and pre-construction process.


• Assist in the preparation and presentation of quote proposals.

Project Management:


• Oversee residential construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.


• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, trades, and material deliveries.


• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress against the schedule.


• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.


• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

What We're Looking For


• Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Estimator in residential construction.


• Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.


• Strong negotiation and communication skills.


• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.


• Excellent time management and organizational skills.


• Ability to work well in a team environment or autonomously – have confidence to make decisions on the spot


• Experience in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).


• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Building, or a related field (preferred).


• A positive attitude and team player who loves to have a joke, and importantly have FUN
