Langs Building Supplies is a family owned and operated business, who for more than 45 years, has been supplying a full range of quality building products to our customers. We are passionate about delivering the best service and quality advice.

An opportunity has become available for the services of experienced Frame and Truss detailers within our Design Hub. We are seeking a self-motivated, hard-working people to join this team. This is a full-time role, 40hrs a week Monday to Friday. Previous experience as a Detailer or Estimator for a licenced Fabricator is essential. Experienced applicants will only be considered.

About the role:

· Use of MiTek 20/20 software to produce fabrication sheets and site layouts

· Ensure accuracy and compliance of fabrication sheets and site layouts

· Design structural components with the use of Hyne Design software

· Prepare cost estimates and provide fabrication quotes

· Consider cost-effective alternative solutions whilst maintaining quality and compliance

· Work effectively in a team environment while managing your own workflow and deadlines

· Follow safe working standards and company procedures

Skills and Experience:

· Competent in the use of MiTek 20/20 or Sapphire design software preferred

· Previous experience with Multinail or Pryda software considered

· Experience with Hyne Design, MiTek AutoBEAM or Smartframe design software

· Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC)

· Excellent mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong time management, computer literacy and communication skills

· Strong work ethic and excellent attitude towards teamwork

· Able to work independently and meet deadlines

· Motivated, goal-driven, and committed to following procedures

· Must have the right to work in Australia
