Senior Estimator – Tallai

Location:
Gold Coast

Tallai is a multi-functional civil infrastructure business with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects across diverse sectors. We are currently seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Gold Coast office and play a key role in our next stage of growth.

The Role

As Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing cost estimates across multiple areas of infrastructure. This role requires someone with proven estimating experience who can deliver accurate, competitive, and compliant tenders while working closely with project and senior management teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates across a range of civil infrastructure projects
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and contract documents to provide accurate pricing
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive and reliable quotations
  • Work closely with management to support bid strategies and business development
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of estimating systems and processes

About You

  • Extensive experience as an Estimator within the civil infrastructure industry
  • Strong knowledge across multiple disciplines (earthworks, roads, structures, utilities, etc.)
  • Ability to manage tender processes from initial enquiry through to submission
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
