Description

Role details:

  • Executive Assistant & Governance Officer.
  • Permanent Full-Time.
  • Works throughout the year including school holidays.
  • Commencement: Tuesday 13 January 2026 (full handover documents will be provided).
  • Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm (flexible).
  • Can WFH c.2 days pw during non-term.
  • Provides exec-level administrative support to the school's Deputy Principal Strategy, Operations, and Development (c. 60%) and the Chief Financial Officer (c. 40%).
  • In addition to standard EA duties for each Executive, this role supports cyclical meetings for School Council and other governance committees (i.e. event logistics, preparing papers, compiling agendas, distributing minutes).
    • NB: this  involves after hours meeting attendance approx 2-3 times per term.
  • Occasionally assists with overflow work from School Administration department.
  • May be called upon to perform EA duties for the Principal during school holidays.


Skills And Experiences

The ideal candidate:

  • Solid experience in a PA/EA role or similar, with expertise across the full range of high-level administrative duties relevant to C-Suite.
  • Must have demonstrated experience supporting board-level activities, with working knowledge of Diligent (or a similar GRC platform).
  • Experience in a school context highly regarded (but not essential).
  • Experience supporting Facilities / major projects highly regarded (but not essential).
  • Proficiency across MS Office and other standard software.
  • Refined organisation, administration, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Personable, relaxed, with a great sense of humour.
  • Most importantly: someone who is proactive, can work independently, is agile, and who is comfortable in a role that requires flexiblity, discretion, confidentiality, and diplomacy.
