We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to manage the purchasing of essential products and materials for our day-to-day operations. You'll ensure goods are sourced, delivered, and stored efficiently while maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end procurement role where attention to detail, negotiation skills, and system accuracy are key.

Key Responsibilities

· Source and evaluate vendors to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements

· Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation

· Track and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed

· Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (vendor info, invoices, delivery timelines)

· Review and negotiate supplier contracts and pricing

· Ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues with orders

· Collaborate with internal teams for forecasting and stock management

· Collaborate with the Internal Sales department during periods of high activity and provide coverage during both planned and unplanned absences

· Comply with all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures

About you

· Proven experience as a Procurement Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar

· Strong ERP system experience and solid data entry skills

· Sound understanding of supply chain processes and vendor sourcing

· Strong communication and negotiation skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
