
General Admin and Tactical Purchasing Trainee

As our new General Admin and Tactical Purchasing Trainee, you will be supporting direct and indirect materials purchasing for given site Manufacturing, Distribution or Service Centers, following replenishment, logistics footprints, and inventory control.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:
- Issue Purchase Orders and follow up with approval compliance process, Open PO reports communication to suppliers in support of materials expediting and inventory control.
- Manage MRP exceptions to avoid obsolete material and guarantee the correct material delivery and inventory control.
- Ensure Material Availability with correct timing to support Site production.
- Liaise with finance and accounts payable to resolve invoicing and stock issues.
- Provide weekly customer open order report updates.
- Document control (MDR/Test reports).
- Dispatch picker release.
- Tag engraving
- Export screening and document/shipment preparation
- General filing, supplier delivery dockets, and scanning
- Payroll processing (backup)
- Ordering and managing stationery levels
- Reconciling freight invoices
- Support the strategic sourcing team, general site administration, and order management team.
**Who You Are**:
You readily act on challenges, without unnecessary planning. Work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. Persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks.
**For This Role, You Will Need**:
- Year 12 Atar or TAFE equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in general industry and admin experience
