Global HQ – Melbourne | Full Time | Finance Team
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you'll own the end-to-end management of both accounts payable and receivable. From processing and reconciliation through to collections, reporting, and system improvements - you'll lead the charge on accuracy, efficiency, and control. You'll also oversee and develop one direct report within the AP/AR function.
This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who loves numbers, process optimisation, and making things run better every day.
What You'll Do
Lead the full AP and AR functions - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all transactions
Manage supplier payments, reconciliations, and cash flow planning
Oversee customer invoicing, statements, and collections
Maintain robust internal controls and financial integrity
Deliver accurate monthly reporting and insights
Support audit requirements and assist with board reporting
Partner with business leaders to solve finance queries quickly and effectively
Identify and drive process and system improvements, including automation opportunities
Coach and develop your direct report to perform at their best
What You'll Bring
5+ years' experience in AP/AR or a similar finance role
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Confident communicator who builds trusted relationships
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (AP21 an advantage)
Understanding of ATO compliance and internal controls
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
A Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting (preferred)
