Accounts Receivable

THE ROLE

We're looking for a passionate and driven Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Officer overseeing the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Including entering and organising payment for all incoming invoices, matching off company credit cards, maintaining allotment files, ensuring accurate management of supplier invoicing.

Supporting the Accounts Receivable & Project Officer / Merchandise Supervisor you will assist with collection of monies and payment plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Receivables

• Ensure Invoicing of contracts according to schedule
• E-mail all details to exhibitors e.g. posted documents and receipts as required
• Liaise with Head of Finance to provide reports and updates as required
• Process / receipt credit card payments and ensure accuracy of accounting / financial system for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Keeping the allotment files up to date
• Processing withdrawals – Issuing withdrawal invoices / credit notes
• Ad hoc support with payment plans and collection of monies as required

Payables

• General administration duties / ad hoc duties
• Invoice data entry
• Sending remittances and preparing payment batches
• Reconciling credit cards
• Checking and entering of expense claims

Administration / Reporting

• Support with wrapping up all invoicing in payables and receivables to close our events
• Maintain and update all customer and supplier details
• Ad hoc tasks as directed by management

At Events

• Support onsite at selected company events as required, this may require interstate travel

THE CANDIDATE

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/Tertiary qualification in accounting / business management or similar field or studying toward the same
• Strong skills in Google Chrome & Google Workspace or similar platform
• Advanced knowledge of database management & financial systems (preferably Salesforce and Xero)
• The role could also suit a qualified bookkeeper looking for more flexible hours
