The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer focused analyst and developer interested in joining our on-site Wacol based User Support team as a Systems Support Officer.

You will be an integral part of supporting the in-house developed web and mobile ERP solutions for Sealy's manufacturing, financial and distribution systems across the Sealy International Group.

In this role you will:

  • Provide ERP systems support as an analyst

  • Work closely with internal users and third parties to diagnose problems and provide training within SLAs

  • Perform testing to validate SOPs and bugs
  • Maintain system configuration and master data
  • Document bugs and change requests

  • Maintain databases using SQL

  • Interrogate databases to identify problems

  • Propose and script solutions to fix bad data
  • Perform ad-hoc data extracts and mass updates
  • Design, build, test, and implement reports

  • Interrogate systems in Java and JavaScript

  • Debug and examine code to validate system functionality and identify root causes

  • Design, code, test, and deploy critical ad-hoc fixes

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar support role
  • Experience using ITSM tools (Atlassian Jira highly regarded)
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Programming skills in Java or JavaScript
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Effective planning, time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with user, team members and management

Highly regarded but is not mandatory:

  • Language abilities in Korean and/or Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese)
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or financial systems

You will have great guidance and support from mentors within the Sealy Information Technology team.
