Access Covers Australia, a leading supplier to the Building & Construction Industry is currently experiencing significant growth and as such is offering a great opportunity to join our Internal Sales team based at Tullamarine.

Servicing a diverse range of customers, the successful applicant shall be responsible for maintaining an exceptional level of customer service and delivering ongoing support in identifying solutions to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer orders and queries with professionalism.
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing customers.
  • Contacting existing and new customers to explain the advantages of buying our products.
  • Identification of customer needs and processing of orders.
  • A strong and continuous focus on business development.
  • Communicating with customers before and after the Sale.
  • Building and maintaining a steady growth of new customers.
  • Build and maintain a close working relationships with staff across the company.
  • Attending to telephone, online, and over the counter enquiries for sector.
  • Invoicing & customer account management.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Liaise with internal departments on a regular basis.
  • Co-ordinate customer deliveries.
  • Process quality assurance documents.
  • Coordinate details between clients, sales office employees.
  • Issue quotations.
  • Manage special projects as required.
  • Coordinate the reporting of sales related initiatives.
  • Data entry, of quotations and invoices into system.
  • Provide positive customer service.
  • Build positive relationships internal and external across the business.
  • Identifying client needs and providing positive solutions.
  • Coordinating dispatch of completed product.
  • Comply with ACA QA/EMS/WHS policies and procedure.
  • Other duties as required to support business needs.
Sector Responsibilities:
  • Increase market share in your allocated Sector. Develop strong relationships with customers and demonstrate how we can add value to their business.
  • Develop a sound knowledge base of all company products and services ACA has to offer within allocated sector.
  • Follow up quotes as directed and convert pending quotes into sales through negotiation to maximize profits and achieve sales revenue and profit budgets.
  • Identify potential customer needs and opportunities within allocated sector.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and objectives.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive sales quotes and estimates within allocated sector.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and product expertise to recommend solutions to clients.
  • Maintain and update pricing information and product knowledge.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and the production team to ensure smooth product execution from point of sale to delivery.
  • Receive and process requests for quote/tender and process orders on behalf of customers in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Develop and maintain a data base for sector with client/project/tender/product information.
  • Outbound call current and potential new customers and clients.
  • Meet with clients, site visits and project planning as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in a Sales environment or the construction industry is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Target driven individual.
  • A punctual, positive and efficient individual.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient computer and MS Office skills (Reckon preferred).
  • Attention to detail, with initiative and common sense.
