Our company is currently seeking a professional production manager with great attention to detail and interpersonal skills to join our well established and successful team in the home improvement industry.

Permanent full time role

Penrith location, onsite parking – work close to home

Full support from vibrant team

About Us- Hi-Craft is an Australian family owned company with over 65 years experience

- We build high quality Alfrescos, Carports, Decks, Patio covers, Pergolas, Sunrooms Additions and Extensions

- Based in the Penrith area with a very well established team and low staff turnover

Salary

- $110k + based on experience

- Bonus scheme

- Use of vehicle

About The Role- Oversee and coordinate the production team and running the yard

- Scheduling the flow of work – allocating all jobs to production team and installers, follow up check measures, outstanding contract monies and job status with project managers

- Customer service

- Coordinate and run monthly production meetings as well as participating in management meetings

- Assist with estimating and costing of contracts

- Organise stock control and solve stock issues

- Ensure monthly targets are met

- Problem solve any issues pertaining to product control

- Process trade sales

- Assisting with coordinating home shows

- Ensure WH&S is maintained on site and in yard with contractors and staff

- Ad hoc requests

You will be responsible for 5 direct reports as well as the building team and answer to the General Manager

This is a full time position with working hours of 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Qualifications & ExperienceThe right candidate will have:

- previous building or construction industry experience

- high level of accuracy and attention to detail

- excellent organisational and time management skills

- strong interpersonal skills, working well within a team and good communicator

- computer literate and technology savvy

- number minded and ability to read and draw building plans

- good at multitasking and problem solving and conflict resolution skills

- have a current drivers license, white card and forklift licence
