**About the Company**

Our client is an OEM manufacturer and supplier working in the heavy manufacturing space for the mining industry. Operations are based in Brisbane southside and supply globally

**Production Manager**

We are looking for a Production Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the end to end manufacturing facilty. This can include machining, fitting, fabrication & stores.

**Duties**
- Create and maintain a cohesive team culture within the factory staff, motivating, supporting and managing Team Leaders and factory staff.
- Ensure the daily factory performance and efficiency is maximised per production line as well as overall factory efficiency
- Manage staff rostering and leave in conjunction with the Production and Logistics Manager
- Report and manage daily output numbers
- Ensure product quality processes are developed and followed
- Management of the supervision team that supervise the machine shop, fabrication, fitting and stores departments
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiative

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Production & manufacturing background
- 3+ years of supervisory OR managerial experience within a heavy industry
- Trade Qualification within the fitting and/or turning trade
- Strong organisation skills and able to manage priorities in a structured manner.
- A knowledge of manual / CNC machining & precision measuring equipment
- Identify & implement changes/improvements to product design or production methods
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Salary - Negotiable up to $110k based on experience
