The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated wine sales professional to grow and manage a key territory covering Melbourne CBD and the South Eastern suburbs. This role services independent retailers, licensed grocers, hotels, and on-premise customers, with some travel across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with both existing and new wholesale customers
  • Actively acquire new accounts and identify sales opportunities
  • Represent our brand at in-store tastings, staff training sessions, and industry events
  • Report on sales activity, provide forecasts, and contribute to business planning
  • Assist in developing and executing our business development strategy
  • Support Rochford's seasonal events, including outdoor concerts, wine shows, and special tastings

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in wholesale wine sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • On-premise trade experience and an established industry network (advantageous)
  • Confidence, charisma, and professionalism when representing our wines
  • Strong drive to meet and exceed targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
  • Solid understanding of wine (WSET Level 1 & 2 preferred but not essential)

Requirements

  • Current RSA Certificate
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Full, unrestricted driver's licence and own vehicle
