About the Role

Experience-driven Area Manager/Wine Representative sought to join our team in Victoria.

  • Oversee and grow established sales territories or customer bases.
  • Develop new B2B sales territories within Melbourne's Inner East area and surrounding suburbs.

This role requires a sales champion who can manage existing accounts, onboard new customers, and develop new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in wine sales.
  • Strong background in face-to-face sales and identifying new business prospects.
  • Ongoing expansion and servicing of sales territories and databases.
  • Business development with hospitality and retail groups, including key account management and supply contracts.
  • Organise and present wine tastings, staff training, and promotional events.
  • Conduct regular client visits, ensure they're informed about our wine portfolio, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with winery partners to initiate promotional activities.
  • Hold WSET Level 2 certification or equivalent and have strong knowledge of domestic and imported wines.
  • A passion for continuous learning and palate development.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in B2B sales.
  • Extensive experience in wine distribution, hospitality management, or training.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with proven ability to meet sales targets.
  • Administration and IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, and experience with CRM or ERP software systems.
