Cellar Door Manager

The perfect candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, maximising wine sales and building relationships with repeat customers.

A key responsibility of this role is to host wine tastings, manage cellar door stock levels, monitor sales and coordinate the despatch of all wine orders placed at the Cellar Door and via phone/website.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service while promoting our premium wines.
  • Maximise wine sales by growing revenue, customer database and implementing innovative upselling strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with repeat customers and local patrons.
  • Manage calendar to schedule bookings for wine tastings and events.
  • Host wine tastings and ensure smooth operational running of the cellar door.
  • Monitor cellar door stock levels and re-stock wine and packaging materials.
  • Coordinate accurate and timely despatch of all wine orders placed at the Cellar Door and via phone/website.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current Victorian RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol).
  • Qualifications in a wine or hospitality-related discipline.
  • WSET training highly regarded but not essential.
  • Passion for wine and wine knowledge.
  • Previous experience in the wine/hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of Australian fine wine varietals and styles, the Mornington Peninsula region and its offerings.
